The v1.0.0 installer places the proxy and browser extension on any Chrome or Edge workstation without administrative privileges — ideal for managed-device rollouts.

    Download the installer

    Grab ZTProxy_Install_Cert.exe from the v1.0.0 GitHub release — standalone binary, no admin rights required.

    Run the installer

    The installer places the mitmproxy CA certificate in the Windows Trusted Root store and copies the browser extension to a permanent location. On-screen prompts do the rest.

    Load the extension

    Open chrome://extensions (or edge://extensions), enable Developer Mode, click Load unpacked, and paste the extension path shown by the installer.

    Start governing AI traffic

    The proxy now inspects prompts and model responses in the browser. Policies you configure in the platform apply automatically.
